Delicious Kitchen, my all-time favorite restaurant in Hong Kong! I can eat this dish everyday with matching Black and White Milk Tea :) I first tasted the famous Braised Beef Tendon Nanjing Style and Double Pork Rib Rice sometime in 2003 and every time we visit Hong Kong, Delicious Kitchen is always on our itinerary.
How to get there?
1. Ride the MTR and alight at Times Square station exit A.
2. Go up the escalator and look for the iconic clock at the Times Square. Walk and cross the street diagonally.
head towards this street.
Just walk straight and you'll see the biggest Apple store building in Causeway bay.
Just keep walking and cross the famous busy street (similar to Japan Shinjuku Street).
Turn right soon as you've crossed the street then just walk straight, then turn left and turn right at the Fashion Walk strip.
You're almost there once you see this red and white building! This is right across Delicious Kitchen building.
Most of the time, there are a lot of people waiting in line outside. On the day that we visited Delicious Kitchen, we were a bit early for lunch that's why no lines yet! Upon entering, the waitress will direct you to your seat. She will then give you hot tea and pickled vegetables as side dish.
We ordered the famous Braised Beef Tendon Nanjing Style for sharing. This dish does not look very appealing but trust me, the sticky, slimy and gooey texture is very very yum.
Then, we also ordered one bowl each of the Double Pork Rib Rice for about HKD 48 or about Php 288 per order. The Double Pork Rib is like a sweet pork chop but made in heaven! It's very sweet and savory at the same time. Juicy too and very very soft! I also love the vegetable rice because they use of the sticky rice + minced bokchoy.
